Well, 'ole Capt Jim and Pam went to the Channel yesterday and sat on a friend's boat for a while (there definitely was booze involved).  For those of you that may have never heard of it, the Channel is a manmade waterway they built when the put the London Bridge here in Lake Havasu City, AZ.  Yeah the real London Bridge, stone by stone.  Both sides of the Channel for most of it's length has "sandy" beaches.  It has become customary for people with large, expensive, "show-off" boats to beach their boats along these beaches to drink, dance, display skin and have a little fun in the sun.  Some may remember the old MTV summer house, well, it was a big thing at Havasu here for a while and now this place is one of the Spring Break "places to go".  It is also one of the biggest party places for Memorial Day, Labor Day, and, of course, the 4th of July (if you have a boat or know someone that does, that is). Some people even bring their kids here and have the sort-of traditional "summer vacation".

We took some pictures with our little camera yesterday to show you some of the scenes.  A better camera for me may be in order if you would like to see more - let us know.
