Hey there all you patriotic leather wearers!  It is that time of year when we remember the struggle to achieve the Independence of our nation.  The same nation that allows us to wear want we want, believe what we want, speak out when we feel it (for the most part anyway), and party how we want (within reason). 

Capt Jim here used to be a solider a while ago and am proud to say so.  As I look back on those days every year I realize they were some of the best times I had.  Sure there were a lot of rough spots but the service provided me with a lot of things also.  Some things I will never forget and some things I will always need.

There are young men & women of ours out there now in all parts of the world (not just the trouble spots) right now that are having miserable times, happy times, depressing times, and times that elate them.  Many of the actual times may be forgotten as years roll on but the life experiences gained will always remain.
